Ah, love. Such a fickle and wonderful thing. It’s a tale forever pressed onto parchment for two young souls to meet and feel a spark at first sight—or at first write.


“You are, indeed, a dense piano key that does not rise after it is pressed.”


“The little faith she has in me, I suppose is something worth… acknowledging. Laughable.”

 ♡ PLOT ♡

The wedding is a front for a court of lies. Birham Bowen and Cassadeigha Chaplshire find themselves the unwilling stars of this puppet show. While their parents claim that it’s for the families’ reputation and that they are in dire need of a spouse at their age, the two believe there is more to the arrangement than they let on. What secrets could their families be hiding? Can the bride and the groom find the evils lurking behind their tales before the wedding and craft a reason to put it to an end?

In this regency-inspired setting, switch between both perspectives as they uncover the truth of the family: catching rumors, gossip, and the worst of the filth in their own manor. But their cases are always missing a vital piece. Could their would-be spouse have what they need to complete them? 

Assuming the newly engaged couple can stop going at each other's throats long enough to have a decent conversation…

There is a singular ending, but you have to uncover these mysteries to comprehend it. This is intended to be a concept first chapter to a potential series of chapters where the characters continue to unearth what lies behind every face in their home. After all, everyone has a secret that could potentially be their social demise.

-  Gameplay Length : 2-3 Hours

-  This was our team's second time participating in a Game Jam and our first time writing a mystery plot! We still have a lot to learn!
